Our comprehensive range of accessories and vehicles caters to the unique needs of mining companies,

security firms, and off-road enthusiasts.

 

Scout Developments can be divided into the following business units, namely: Consulting, Research and Development, Detailed Mechanical designing, Drawing work and manufacturing. The markets we primarily service are the Automotive, Mining and Security industries. All other sectors are also catered for.

By concentrating on our core competencies, we are constantly upgrading our processes and products.

Scout Developments consists of the following main sectors:

 

• Consulting: We consult with a large customer base on various requirements and projects that they might require, and we pride ourselves on achieving results.

• Research and Development: We have both in-house R&D projects and customer-required projects. These projects are developed from the conception stage to final realisation and production.

• Mechanical design: We offer mechanical design solutions to requirements.

• Drawing work: Detailed drawings can be prepared for manufacture and production.

• Manufacturing: Includes anything from 4x4 vehicle accessories to custom one-of projects, trailers of various types and all required steel work.

• Vehicle manufacturing: Scout Developments has developed vehicles for the mining, security, as well as civilian sectors. These can be adapted to use in the Mining and Security sector.

• Training: After-sales training is offered where required on specialised equipment.
